Elikkäs täällä me ollaan Etelä-Amerikassa, Uruguayssa ja siellä Paysandu nimisessä kaupungissa jossa on Ponsse Uruguayn pääpaikka ja huoltopiste.
Here we are in South America in Uruguay and in there in Paysandu city where is Main place of Ponsse Uruguay.

Täällä reissussa on menossa kaksi Ylä Savon ammattiopiston Koas11 opiskelijaa; Jesse Rahkola ja Tuomas Pesonen.

22.1-23.1

Reissumme alkoi 22.1 Tiistaina iltapäivällä kun perheemme toi meidät Rissalan lentokentälle. Lento lähti kohti helsinkiä 14.35, se lentohan ei pitkään kestänyt, vaivaiset 40 minuuttia. Helsinki-Vantaan lentokentällä odotimme tunnin Madridin lentoa. Madridiin lento kesti 4 ja puoli tuntia. Siellä saimme odottaa check-inniä seuraavat neljä ja puoli tuntia, mutta kauppoja kierrellessä sekin aika meni nopeasti. Sen jälkeen alkoi se pitkän pitkä istuminen ja emme edes päässeet vierekkäisille paikoille. Lento lähti espanjan aikaa 00:40 ja kesti puuduttavat 13 tuntia. Siinä sitä toivoi, että kone lukisi valonnoputta. Seuraavana aamuna saavuimme perille ja kävely teki niin ihanaa! Mutta vastassa oli Guillermo Rivero ja siitä alkoi vielä neljän tunnin istuminen. Välillä tulimme sen minkä hilux vain kulki.. Jännitystä elämään..
Perille Paysanduun päästyämme, kävimme katsomassa hallin ja siitä menimme ponsse houselle. Siellä on toimistot,koulutustilat ja asentajien majoitustilat. Meille on erillinen huone, suihku ja vessa. Ihan kuin hotellissa olisi! Kävimme illalla vähän kaupungilla tutkimassa mitä löytyy..


Our trip started in 22.01 Tuesday afternoon when our families brought us to the Rissala airport. The flight left to Helsinki at 14.35, flight takes only 40 minutes. Helsinki-Vantaa airport, we waited about an hour in Madrid flight. Madrid flight lasted 4 and a half hours. There, we were waiting for the check-Inn, the next four and a half hours, but that time went fast. This was followed by the long-long sitting and we did not even reach next places. The flight left the Spanish time to 0:40 and it took 13 hours. It is hoped that the airplane should go to speed of light. The next morning we arrived and​ ​walking was so wonderful! There was waiting Guillermo Rivero and that was the beginning for a further four hours of sitting. Adventurous life ..
When we arrived to Paysandu, we visited the hall and went to the Ponsse House. There are offices, training facilities and places for other mechanics. We have own room with shower and toilet. It's like the hotel! We went to town in the evening exploring what we can found ..






24.1

Aamu alkoi tutkimalla hallia ja olimme Martinin kanssa. Kun olimme haalarit päällä hallissa niin tuntui jo niin tukalalta valmiiksi. Saimme työksi hitsailla tynnyriteline kolmelle 200 litran tynnyrille. Puikkohitsi laitteet antoivat meille vaikka kyllä hallissa oli myös Mig. No kyllähän sitä saumaa tuli myös puikkokoneella. Kävimme puolitapäivin syömässä Martinin kanssa ja tulimme takaisin hallille jatkamaan hitsailua. Klo 17 tulimme toimistolle jossa Martin Toledo piti meille mielenkiintoisen esitelmän Uruguayin tilanteesta.

The morning began by looking the places of hall and we were with Martin. We got a job to weld barrel rack for three 200 liter barrels. MMA equipment gave us yes even though in the hall was also the Mig. We went to dinner with Martin at half of day and we came back to the hall to continue welding. At 17 we came to office and Martin Toledo gave us an interesting presentation on the situation in Uruguay.

25.1

Aamusta hallilla jatkoimme tynnyritelineen rakentelua, saimme sen siihen pisteeseen,että enempää emme voineet tehdä sille. Sen jälkeen BuffaloKingin siirsi Toto ja Jesse pesupaikalle, jossa siitä pestiin lika pois.
Sitten alkoi hiljainen odottelu, hallissa ei ollut ketään, ulkona vaunua rakentamassa oli vain espanjaa puhuvia uusia asentajia. Klo 17 aikaan täytimme työlistan ja lähdimme viikonlopun viettoon.


At the morning in hall we continued to barrel rack welding, we got it to the point that we could not do any more to it. After that, BuffaloKing transferred to Tote and Jesse to washing site at which it is washed off the dirt.
Then began to quiet waiting, the hall there was no one, outside was the only Spanish-speaking new installers. At 17 we filled a worklist and went to spend the weekend.
